How we got engaged
We had just returned to Matt's parents house from eating dinner at Arizona Steakhouse in Simpsonville, SC. Matt was being very sweet and asked me if I wanted a foot rub. So I decided to take him up on the offer since in normally have to beg just to get a 2-minute shoulder/neck massage. He had my foot in his lap and started to rub my left foot. I mentioned to go get some lotion, and Matt seemed a little too willing to go to the bathroom to get some lotion. well little did i know he was hiding my ring in the bathroom! but anyhow, he came back in and started to rub my feet, and then i felt something hard around my 4th toe. But I couldn't see anything because my foot was in matt's lap. So I sat up and got a glimpse of what it was. At first i thought it was my promise ring and he was playing a joke on me, but then i look over and he was on one knee. neither one of us remember what exactly he said, we just remember me repeating "what are you doing" about 5 times. but after i realized that this was for real! so i shut my mouth and listened & said yes!!!! <3
